Angular 2 component .html path

Question

I am trying to use relative paths for html in the component, I am also matching my js files in the dist folder .. my component code

app / app.component.ts

The html file is located in the same directory ie application /app.component.html

I get the following error

It is clear that angular finds the app.component.html file in the dist / app / app.component.html file, which is not there, how can I fix this ??

This is the best solution I could find so far: moduleId: module.id.replace("/dist/", "/src/");where srcin my case app. Taken from here .
