How to change session timeout in iis 8.5

Im in IIS 8.5 Windows Server 2012 R2, and I want to see what a session timeout is. In the object view, I see a session category, so I open it. Session state is set in the process. Father in the window I see options for setting timeouts, but they are for cookies. I looked in the application pool and I saw that the wait time is 20 minutes, is this the session timeout? I'm used to iis 7, where you click on the "ASP" function and install it there.
