Opening a stored procedure file several times in sql server management studio

There is a strange situation in Sql Server Management Studio that made me lose my job all day. This is the problem of simultaneously opening database objects. When I try to edit the table by right-clicking on the explorer object, it opens the editing window for the first time, the second time it opens the previously opened one, but not in the new editing window. Despite this, if I try to select from this table by right-clicking from the object explorer, it opens a new query several times using the select statement when I repeat this process. It also does the same for stored procedures and functions. I lost my changes to the stored procedure due to opening several times. In Visual Studio, you cannot reopen a file in a new editor several times by default. Is it possible to reconfigure sql server management studio so as not to open an object that is already open in the editor?

Note. I know that it is my problem to remember which objects I have already opened, but I ask for help if there is an option that I do not know about.

Note No. 2: I have doubts that this is the right place to ask such a question. Please do not offend me.
