Alternate SolarQube Architecture Rule Templates

I noticed that the Architectural constraint pattern has been deprecated recently.

From SONARJAVA-1774 :

This rule is aimed at the scale of our goals. That is why we condemn this.

Is there an alternative to restricting architectural constraints using SonarQube rules, or should I write my own Java rule for this purpose?
