Visual Studio Context Menu - Build Registration

When I right-click on a class library project (project node), I see the entry "Registering the assembly."

Does anyone know what this team is doing? I would suggest that it registers the assembly in the GAC (but this requires a strong name), but I would rather learn more about this rather than experimenting to find out.

If it's not out of the box in Visual Studio, how can I easily find out where it came from?

I tried searching the Internet and did not find too much.

Recording comes from Lake Lake Data Tools and should be included in C # projects. This is a bug you can read here:
