Why doesn't the Xcode crash report show the source code?

I got my first crash report through TestFlight, which I can see in Organizer:

Xcode Organizer Crash Report

There are several issues that I am trying to debug a crash:

When I click the "Open in project ..." button, the project does not open automatically. Great, but it is not even included in the list of recent projects that offered me as the next step (nothing is indicated there, although this is the only application that I am actively working on now):

Overview of Recent Projects

I click the Browse ... button to open the .xcworkspace file for my project, but as soon as the project opens, nothing useful happens. All I see is the Debug navigator, open with broken threads, but nothing opens on the right side (editor):

Debugging a navigator with broken threads, but nothing more!
