Seaborn OS X: seaborn.pairplot () ValueError: 'transform' must be an instance of 'matplotlib.transform.Transform'

Question

Inside the jupyter laptop, the following steps have been taken to get the job done seaborn.pairplot(). An error from /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/matplotlib/matplotlib/transforms.pycstopped the function.

The following are python library versions:

A csv aperture dataset was read

EDIT

I suspect this is due to malfunctioning matplotlib font manager. I removed fontconfig and spicy directories from ~ / .cache / and received a new error message: AttributeError: object 'module' does not have attribute 'Locked'
