During the development of a tracking system in my application, I had a problem. I set up such a GoogleTagManager layer (see Screenshot 1 ):
I configured my GA account (see screenshot 2 ):
When I click datalayer, I add an ecommerce option:
"price"
Value, for example, 11.24d. This built-in variable works just fine: In the tracking log, I see
pr1pr=11.24
But if I send the same value as the custom metric:
"metric1", 11.24
It will be sent as follows:
pr1cm1=11
It is transformed into a whole. In addition, when I sent the string, it tells me that it can not be converted to an integer, but the built-in parameter "price" can even get.
