Show full log (it is abbreviated with "...")

Question

I have a log entry:

Logger.info(payload|>inspect)

the payload comes in binary format and can be quite large.

For the purpose of debugging, I need it to be written completely, however I get:

15:04:31.269 [info] <<10, 36, 102, 102, 100, ...>>

Like this, but I shortened the line to fit (more).

You need to provide an option truncate: :infinity(or the bite size you need)

config :logger, :info,
  path: Path.join('log', "#{Mix.env}.log"),
  level: :info,
  truncate: :infinity
