I have Flyme 5.1.6.0 G OS (not rooted) on a Meizu M2 note.
When I try to create a new notification in my Android app using new NotificationCompat.Builder, I do:
.setSmallIcon(icon_small)
.setLargeIcon(largeIcon)
And other methods, but the icon in the status bar is not what I installed.
In most notifications (including other applications), the speech bubble icon simply appears.
BUT! There are at least two exceptions:
- Google Chrome app
- VK application (social network)
Both of them, only regular applications (and not system applications), can still set their custom icons, as shown in the figure below:
1) speech bubble icon (most applications)
2) custom VK icon (new message)
3) Chrome ( )
