Firebase integration error: legacy Google Play services

I am trying to integrate Firebase into an Android app. I am using this tutorial . I updated my sdk manager, added google-services.jsonand did everything as indicated on the website. However, I get this error Google Play services out of date. I want to get the device token id so that I can send it to the server in login mode. Is there anything else I need to do to get the device token id?
