XPages: IBM OneUI vs. Bootstrap

In the near future I need to update the XPage application (development time more than three years), which now works on Domino Server 8.5.3 FP6to Domino Server 9. In this application I use IBM OneUIv2.1, but I'm not sure if I will use it further. Unfortunately, I have no experience with Bootstrap, however, one of the latest Extension Library has released an important part of the update for Bootstrap:

This release is the sixteenth version of IBM Notes Domino 9.0.1 The XPages Extension Library (ExtLib) for OpenNTF. This release contains a significant upgrade of Bootstrap to 3.3.6.

So, for me, does this seem to be the XPages CSS Framework of the future? I'm right?

Thanks in advance for sharing the experience.
