Android - multiple vertical scrolling in horizontal scrolling

Question

In my application, I have horizontal scrolling. Inside this HSV, I add dynamically different VERTICAl scrollviews (of different sizes). Now only the first vertical scroll is available, since I can’t perform horizontal scrolling (the child wins the touch).

Any suggestions on how to get the parent HSV to respond to horizontal gestures, and vertical scroll lists for kids respond to vertical gestures?
