Select Account Endless Loop Using Google Drive API

I'm trying to set up an Android app that can manage files stored on my personal Google Drive account using the recommendations of the Google Drive REST API overview .

I have completed the sample code so that the user can connect to the account, but the "Select Account" dialog appears constantly, regardless of whether the account name is selected or the cancel button is pressed.

I believe the problem is that the method refreshResults()retains the null value when testing for mCredential.getSelectedAccountName()even after the account name has been selected in the account selection dialog box. However, I do not know why this is happening or how to fix it. I would really appreciate it if someone more experienced could advise me. Thanks.

My code is as follows:

import android.app.Dialog;

I had the same problem, in my case the cycle was caused by the fact that I did not create my credentials for my application ...

Details are described here: https://developers.google.com/drive/android/get-started

You must use Google Google Api Quickstart with Google. Link . I can confirm that unfortunately this is not working yet. This leads to an endless registration cycle, even if I only have one gmail account on my device. Perhaps consider using the code on the Drive Api page as a starting point. This should work
