Where to find natural neighbor interpolation in python

Does anyone know of any tools for interpolating a natural neighbor in python? if I'm not stupid, I cannot find it in the scipy.interpolate module

Here is an implementation of a 3D discrete natural neighborhood:

Note that discrete is important here; it is an approximation of a true geometric natural neighbor.
