Is the program I just made a virus? C ++

Ok, so I just created a C ++ program, which is basically a laptop, you write stuff in it and it saves it in a .dat file, and then you can read it later.

I compiled it with Microsoft Visual C ++, and now I sent it to a friend, and this saying that it is a virus? I browse it on the Internet, and he also says that it is a virus. I don’t know why this is happening, since I literally used some if / else statements, created some lines and used a couple of getlines. (and fstream to create .dat files).

This is the virus report: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/a1b72280a32915429607fd5abeef1aad4f8310867df1feb7707ea0f7a404026e/analysis/1455735299/

Here is my code. (Its 400+ lines). And I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with that. http://pastebin.com/ZwJZrRSu

Any idea why this is happening?

Most likely, your computer is already infected with a virus that adds itself to any executable file that it can find on your computer. This will easily explain this behavior. Try compiling the same program on your PC, which is clean and scans your computer with antivirus.

I'm not sure, but I think because you imported kernel32.dll Again, it's hard to say without source Also take a look at the file detail in the report
