Smooth streaming - how Silverlight selects the default track in a multilingual manifest

Question

I have a smooth stream source with English and Spanish soundtracks. When a player starts playing, English is the default language. How is it installed, which is the default audio track?

A few related details:

• In the manifesto, a Spanish soundtrack appears in front of English.
• The English soundtrack has the attribute index = 0, while the Spanish one has index = 1.

A few test results:

• If I manually edit the XML and change the indexes so that the Spanish index = 0 and the English index = 1 will not change anything, English is still the default.
• If I edit the XML manually and reorder the tracks in XML, for example. English appears before Spanish, then Spanish is the default language.

The above conclusion is that the last segment of audio in the manifest is standard. I can not find documentation supporting this assumption. Would thank for any supporting comments or documentation for this.
