Moving data from SQL to Aerospike

I want to transfer a lot of data (> 10gb) from my MySQL database to Aerospike. What is the best approach to doing the same? I know that I can dump MySQL data in CSV and then read it in Aerospike, but I wanted to know if they have any other approach with a smaller SLA or a safer way for it.

The easiest way would be SELECT INTO OUTFILEto use the necessary delimiters and line endings to make the output CSV-compatible. You then used the aerospike loader tool ( aerospike / aerospike-loader ) to load data into Aerospike. The tool allows you to use multiple threads for reading and writing in parallel, so it is pretty fast.

If you are interested in one-time migration, I would recommend CSV-Export / -Import. If you transfer the table structure ( CREATE-Statements), you do not need to worry too much about data types.

script/program/ETL-Tool, mysql, ( ?) . , , / () / . imho .
