I encountered this problem when trying to install updates using the Extensions and Updates dialog:

I checked %TEMP%( %MyUserName%\AppData\Local\Temp), but at first I see nothing related to VS installation logs. A couple of days ago, everything worked fine, and I have no idea how to fix it.
I read this answer and tried to install reset VS with /ResetUserDataand /ResetSettings.
Does anyone have any ideas? At least where can the specified log file be indicated?
