When I log in to the tfs build server using the local account and run the following powershell command:
Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.TeamFoundation.PowerShell
it loads tfs cmdlets correctly. However, when I run the build on the tfs server that calls the script, it does not work with the message:
"Microsoft.TeamFoundation.PowerShell" is not installed on this computer.
The build agent runs under the service account. What should I do?
EDIT : I had to edit the reqistry entry from the first link in @Alexis Coles answer to work with the 2015 TFS PowerTools version:
