I am looking for any modern resources for setting up a video streaming server. Open source solutions are preferred.
My search for this has led to many dead ends. I also need to build my own, not pay for the service.
To set up your own streaming video server, you must start with the following components:
FFMpeg (see streaming guide )
VLC (. wiki)
, , OpenACS
, , : , , .
. script , HTTP . , (, , , , ..).
Go ( ) HTTP Live.
, .
: VideoLAN - , (LAN) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VideoLAN http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Livebox has a Linux distribution, VLC, Ffmpeg and everything that you have installed. This is a built-in streaming DIY video server. See livebox for more details .
