CreateShadowRoot vs attachShadow

Question

The document mozilla developer says that the createShadowRootold in favor attachShadow here , although reference to the shadow of the attachment moves to 404. W3C project also points out that the correct way would be attachShadow, here . Again, the W3C release list offers another way to create and attach shadow roots for reuse and make hosts mutable here .

I'm just confused. Should I go for it, should I give it up, or should I go to third parties such as Polyfill and Polymer ; although the latter actually uses something called Shady DOM, which simply looks at the problems that the Shadow DOM addresses (not only differently, but) to the full opposite corner.

It will be very useful if you can discuss a practical solution for the transition time to the final standard.
