Can users edit their personal details in CloudKit

I like CloudKit for many reasons:

  • a traction-based approach makes me confident that I am getting the latest data;
  • Unlike iCloud key storage, CloudKit data is never erased after a user uninstalls an application from their devices.

With all this beauty, data is also shared between devices of the same user without any logins and user management, which I have to take care of.

There are many cases where I can use them, some of them relay on the fact that the data is available only for the application and cannot be changed or copied by the user. For example, it could be consumption in shopping apps so that I can store all purchases in CloudKit and they will be available for different devices of the same user.

So, the actual question:

Can a user without a malicious device somehow change their CloudKit data outside the application?

I believe that jailbreaking will allow him to do many things, including replacing CloudKit methods, but what about regular users?
