How to check Firefox WebExtension popup?

Question

I am trying to get the Google Chrome extension to work as a Firefox web extension. My original problem is that the popup has no height. Also, I couldn’t figure out for life how to check the pop-up DOM.

Btw popup is just an HTML file, and it is defined in browser_action.default_popup.

The errors mentioned in the @minj comment above are resolved in recent versions of Firefox. Now you can debug pop-ups. MDN explains this well ; briefly ...
