External HTTP connections do not work (ports are open)

Question

On a hosted Ubuntu virtual machine, I have nginx running for httpand https, and you can access those that use the public IP address inside the VM:

curl http://159.203.0.5

Work outside the virtual machine fails - connection time is disconnected.

Ports open:

I think the problem is not in the VM, but on the machine with which you are trying to connect to the VM. Are other connections supported on this machine?

Take a look at this:

I don't get a timeout, and this 404 looks good to me.
