Why did the jersey repack the guava?

I do not understand why you need to use a redesigned version of guava. When should I use a repackaged version of java java instead of using guava directly?

If you are not modifying Jersey itself, you should not use the repackaged dependency: this is part of the internal components of Jersey repackaged specifically to avoid conflicts with user dependencies.
