Is uWSGI master process useful for Heroku?

I understand that the master process is designed to coordinate repeated restarts, etc. This does not apply to Heroku. However, the heroku manual in the documentation includes it in the config without explanation:

Why would this be useful on Heroku?

In this case, the wizard is not used to control repeated restarts, for the option memory-reportthat the configuration recommends. Using the uWSGIwizard also manages advanced loggingand statistics.
