HTML5 video with .js video does not work in Safari

I have a private website that hosts instructional videos using the HTML5 tag and the video.js plugin. It worked in Chrome / Firefox / Safari until the last Spring, but now the video no longer works in Safari. They work great in Chrome and Firefox. I upgraded to the latest versions of video.js v4.12 and v5, but that did not help. You can view the broken code on this test page.

When you open a page and click on a video, it works fine in Chrome and Firefox, but not in Safari.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks
