How can I prevent the action bar from locking?

All the applications that I created turned off my action bar after I upgraded my phone to Marshmallow. The app works great on Lollipop and Kitkat.

Basically the application has one view and it does not display correctly on my updated phone.

Use android:fitsSystemWindows="true"in the root representation of your layout.

android:fitsSystemWindows - , . true, , . , .
