Command not found after pipe

I am using OS X Mavericks with zsh (technically the oh-my-zsh package).

I have encountered this error for some time and have not found a way to fix it. Sometimes, when I execute a command, it simply says that the command was not found.

For example, when I look through the list of nmap network addresses, for example nmap -sL 192.168.2.0/24 | grep ')', I sometimes get an error zsh: command not found:  grep. Even when I use the up arrow button, this will not work, so I have to rewrite the command in the same way and it will work.

This is really annoying, and this happened sometimes with other teams and mostly after the pipe.

Any idea why this is happening?
