SAS EG - open a table without creating a table in the process thread

This seems pretty trivial, but is there a way in the SAS Enterprise Guide to simply open the SAS dataset from the SAS library without adding a shortcut to the process thread?

For SAS EG 5.1 you need to do the following:

• Right Click Dataset
• Choose "Explore"
• Go to "Data Explorer"
• Double-click on the dataset that you want to examine.

Once it is in the Data Explorer, you no longer need to do steps 1-3 for this data set.
