How to get a counter for querying a database in Accumulo

Every database I have ever seen has a method of getting the query count before it is actually executed. But I cannot figure out how to do this simple task in Accumulo.

Just for clarity, I want the Accumulo analog of this Mongo function .

I checked the Scanner apidocs , but I can not find anything. I use Java, but answers to other languages are also very useful.

Accumulo is a lower-level application than a traditional DBMS. It is based on the Google Big Table and does not look like a relational database. It is more accurately described as a massive parallel sorted map than a database.

It is designed to perform various tasks than the relational database, and its main focus is on big data.
