User module does not appear in application list

Question

I am trying to install a module from odoo 8 to odoo 9.

I just copied the entire folder to a folder addonsin odoo 9 and expected that I could somehow install the module in odoo 9, but it does not appear in the list of applications to install. Something has changed in the odoo structure, what should I prepare the module for display in the list of applications?

You do not see your modules / applications because you must update the list of modules.

First you need to restart the server .
