Which actively supported slickgrid plug should we choose?

We used a spot grid for one of our packages. Unfortunately, it seems that the slick grid is not actively supported, which is very sad because it does not officially match with something new than jQuery 1.7.

Is there an active supported SlickGrid fork? Or a good alternative to this library?

According to this repo, slick grid is actively used here by Stackoverflow.

You can try the following fork: https://github.com/6pac/SlickGrid , which was recently updated (November 29th).

The fork is followed by the following message:

"The goal is to be a viable alternative repo repo while MLeibman is busy. It builds on the current state of the mleibman / SlickGrid branch wizard, updating the libraries and applying a small secure fix and improvement kernel, without turning into a personalized build."
