Forgive me if my question is stupid or something, as far as I'm new to programming. This stack over the article Visual Studio 2013 thread and the ASP.NET web page setup tool saved me time to run the Visual Studio 2013 WSA tool, but I ran into a new problem, and that was connecting to the SQL Server database.
The problem is that I start IIS Express via cmd and then put the address in the browser. I am redirected to the WSA Tool, but when I click on the security tab or link, I get this error:
There is a problem with the selected data store. This may be due to an incorrect server name or credentials or insufficient permission. This could also be because the role manager function is not enabled. Click the button below to redirect to a page where you can select a new data warehouse.
When diagnosing a problem, the following message may help:
Unable to connect to SQL Server database
My connection string looks like this:
<connectionStrings>
<add name="DefaultConnection"
connectionString="Data Source=.; Initial Catalog=aspnetdb; User Id=sa; Password=***********; Integrated Security=true"
providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
</connectionStrings>
And my whole application web.configis below:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<configuration>
<configSections>
<section name="entityFramework" type="System.Data.Entity.Internal.ConfigFile.EntityFrameworkSection, EntityFramework, Version=5.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" requirePermission="false" />

I do not see <rolemanager enabled=true>MVC in my application, although I tried a web application that had this <rolemanager enabled="true">, but does not even work.
