My server application makes several connections to MySQL through separate threads. Each connection raises a request SELECTand receives a result, which the application then returns to the connected users.
I am using InnoDB. To my surprise, it seemed very strange to me that if I increase the number of connections to MySQL, query performance will degrade, and the sampling time will also increase. The table below.
This data is created when I had 3333 records in the MySQL table, and the query, SELECTbased on random parameters provided to it, extracts about 450 records from them. Each record contains about 10 fields, and all of them together contain 1.2 KB of data. (Thus, a single request SELECTretrieves data 1.2 * 450 = 540 KB in total)
