Project ERROR: Unknown module in QT: webengine

I put together a framebuffer image (without x11 and wayland) for wandboard-quad with Yocto Jethro. I used the BSP Jethro community affiliate Freescale community. Image contains most of the components of Qt 5.5 and Qt Web Engine.

The qmake version is 5.5.1 from the meta-toolchain-qt5, and Qt Creator is 5.5.

I created an example of a fast nano browser to test functionality. But, Qt Creator gives me this Project ERROR: Unknown module(s) in QT: webengineone when I iterate over compilation on wandboard. However, compiling the desktop is good.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

Change . I follow how to configure Qt Creator in this setup instruction

Change . First of all, Qt WebEngine has 2 versions: open and licensed. Based on what ICS said, there are practically no differences between the two versions.

Qt Webengine is not available in the SDK packagegroup-qt5-toolchain-target.bb. Therefore, it does not contain all the components of Qt Web Engine.

To add Qt WebEngine to the SDK, I changed packagegroup-qt5-toolchain-target.bbby adding qtwebengine-devandqtwebengine-mkspecs

Question: qmake does not recognize the Qt Webengine module, even all the necessary files are present in sysroot. How to fix it?

My understanding (sorry, not a link to the hand), but cross-compilation webengineis only supported on a paid corporate version of Qt.

No Wayland or Server, you can compile with EGLFS support. In the recipe for adding an image:

DISTRO_FEATURES_remove = "wayland x11"
DISTRO_FEATURES + = "opengl"

PACKAGECONFIG_GL_pn-qtbase = "gles2 linuxfb"
PACKAGECONFIG [gles2] = "-opengl s2 -eglfs,, virtual / virtual / egl libgles2"
