What is a Django endpoint?

I made a Django / jQuery / JS Tug O 'War application in which a user button hides their specific key in an attempt to pull the HTML tag <img>all the way to the screen. When the user wins, the fields of the Game / Player model are updated and the game begins. Some of these fields are the total number of key taps that were required to win the game, who won / lost, and how many wins / losses each player has.

In the project I'm working on, the question is that I'm creating a new Django endpoint for leaders that display some simple game statistics.

What is a Django endpoint?

Is that just a fancy word for creating a normal board of leaders? Or can I do something special? They suggest that I use Mustache to create it (I cannot find many explanations about what it is).

I cannot find relevant information about stack overflows or firewalls. At the moment, I have been looking for an answer for about 2 hours.

Here is a link to the project instructions.

They seem to expect the creation of an API to send data to javascript, and then using a template modeling engine such as mustache, you create a leaderboard.
