I have a tutum node and it is always close to consuming full memory. If I upgrade node to a larger amount of memory, it will be full again.
To be more specific: as soon as I started with node and, say, from 6 services, I can’t add another one, because node is always full. I have to restart from scratch or buy another node:
> watch -n 5 free
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 4048280 3902288 145992 22796 310708 1334052
-/+ buffers/cache: 2257528 1790752
Swap: 0 0 0
Interestingly, the cover itself does not know about this and thinks that node has more than 50% of its memory:

What is the reason for this? Nothing else works on node, it was fully prepared through tutum.
The fundamental supplier of clouds is the digital ocean, the docker version is 1.8.3.
