The Difference Between Hadoop Groups and Schedulers

I am trying to understand groups in Hadoop but could not get it completely. How different are they from schedulers who allocate resources for each queue based on configured rules? I understand that schedulers seem to be more related to memory when groups are related to the processor. Do I understand correctly? I'm sure something is missing here.

Any expert advice please.

thanks
