Move to last instance of given character in string in vim?

Is there a quick way to jump to the last instance of a given character in the current line? For example, go to the last close in a row. I do not want to type f)fifteen times to go there, and the use of / is not limited to the current line (I write on the Scheme).

• $to go to the end of the line,
• F)to go to the first )back.
