Javascript adobe acrobat dc document level

Of course, when you search the forums, search for Google search results, all answers relate to the previous version of adobe acrobat before they decided to change everything. I cannot find where I can add document level javascript in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. There is no longer a menu of "Tools" or "Advanced", which almost corresponds to every answer that I have seen so far. Does anyone know how to quickly add document-level javascript to pdf in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC so that I can add global functions that I can name anywhere and assign some global data from which these functions work?

Thanks!

In Acrobat DC, you have a Tools view in which you will find a JavaScript tool. Then you can add it to the right pane. The JavaScript tool has long known parameters.

You can also use the tool search function in the right pane (note: in some versions of Acrobat DC, under certain circumstances, this may cause Acrobat to crash, but I think they fixed this error, in the meantime, get the latest version).
