Work related application but not showing changes in dumpsys

Question

I did everything to set up application communications. My application starts when I dismiss the intention:

adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.VIEW -d "https://www.example.com"

But when I check the system through adb:

adb shell dumpsys package domain-preferred-apps

I am still getting undefined status:

Package: com.example.applinkingtest
Domains: www.example.com
Status:  undefined

Can you guess why this is so? I wait 20 seconds for recommended documents.
