Can I change the Android NFC tag verification interval?

What am I from the official official Android documents on NFC , the entire procedure for checking NFC tags (in read mode) is processed by the OS. Basically, the OS says, “I'll let you know as soon as I see the tag that interests you,” and there seems to be no way to influence how this works, even when the highlighted application is in the foreground.

The reason I ask is because a quick test showed that various Android hardware seems to scan at different intervals between short jumps and active scans, suggesting that this can be configured in the end.

Is it possible to affect the scan interval? For example, if the application is open or the device is deployed? Or is the scan interval even dictated by the NFC chip, so the OS has no effect?
