Watchman ERROR - no-pretty get-sockname when starting npm start

I know this error has been resolved. I watched the entire uninstall, and then reinstalled. updates and updates. run npm r -g watchman... but everything crashes when you try to runnpm start

I suspect mine LaunchAgentson the macbook was interrupted. this is what i get on startup

ls -ld ~/Library/LaunchAgents

lrwxr-xr-x  1 infacq  staff  46 Aug 16 11:03 /Users/infacq/Library/LaunchAgents -> /usr/local/opt/mysql/homebrew.mxcl.mysql.plist

Has anyone experienced this?

I think you need:

rm /Users/infacq/Library/LaunchAgents

You may also need to:

mkdir /Users/infacq/Library/LaunchAgents

but you may need to fix permissions for this directory so that others cannot write it

Same as the problem here

:

npm r -g watchman
brew update && brew upgrade
brew install watchman

libtool

brew reinstall libtool --universal && brew unlink libtool && brew link libtool

libtool

brew link pcre

Error: Could not symlink share/man/man3/pcre.3
/usr/local/share/man/man3 is not writable.

,

sudo chown -R `whoami` /usr/local
