Application group with identifier ... not available. Enter another line

I am working on a common Xcode code base and am trying to run the application on my phone. I entered my developer id and I had to rename all the package ids. However, now the application does not start because it says

An application group with the identifier "Your name is here" is not available. Please enter another line.

Where can I change the name of the application group?

I also tried the instructions here to change the Product Name: How to change the name of the application for iOS? but actually in my project I do not see the name of the product, so this is not the right way.

Based on your error message, I can determine that the application group identifier you selected is unfortunately used by someone else but your team. And based on this you need:

Create a new application group:

Create a new application group with a different identifier, i.e. group.com.company.newappgroupname. The smoothest way is open your project in XCode, then open the info on targetand then open the " Capabilities" tab . Here you will find the groups of App Groupsyour team and the ability to add new ones (by clicking on the + sign). Here you also choose that your application will "join" to a specific application group by checking the box.

Optional - if you want to remove the application group:

XCode, Apple ", ". → . . , . . , , . !
