How to create a folder on BitBucket?

How do I create folders on BitBucket (web interface) to streamline the hierarchies of my repositories?

Example:

https://bitbucket.org/my_account/my_folder/my_repository

BitBucket does not provide you with this option to add a folder and manage repositories within a folder. Once you are logged in to your account, you can continue to add repositories, but you cannot manage the repositories inside your account in folders.

It turned out,

Open repo → Go to source → + New file → Under the file name:

folder1 / folder2 / file.extension

Bitbucket "", , . URL , .

I understand this is a bit of an old question, but I would like to point out that Geeth W is actually wrong. In fact, you can create folders in a bitpack, but the way I found this is through SourceTree.

  • Create a new branch
  • When specifying a new branch name, give it a folder, a prefix name, for example: backups /

When you finish creating a branch, you will see in the user interface that it is in a folder, and in the web panel you will also see that it is in this folder.

Hope this helps.
