We experienced timeouts and long queries with BigQuery. The table is 1 row (8 bytes), and the query takes an average of 50 seconds.
This causes problems with our applications that fail after 10 seconds. They do not expect a 1 row query to take so long.
Is there something wrong with BigQuery today?
