Google Feed APIs Not Working - Shutting Down?

Question

I just opened my news website that I am working on this morning, and none of the RSS feeds are displayed, I went to the Google Feed forum to find out if there was anything about this, and the only thing that was I found this.

There is still no official confirmation that it was turned off, but only speculation that it was. If this was completed, does this mean that everyone who has used the Google Feed API up to this point will have to find an alternative? Is there any way to continue using it?
