I am in Visual Studio 2015, the universal windows application, package.appxmanifest, and I am very shocked at how many images are required only for the icon. Apart from the images for the screen saver, 39 images only for the aka logo icon (!)
Although there are 15 images that are labeled as "recommended." Please note that in the “Store logo” and “Logo icon” and “Screen splash” sections, he does not recommend any of them (so I assume that they are all important?)
So, my questions, especially to those of you who have successfully submitted the application to the Windows storage:
- Do I have to fill in all 39 icons + 5 saver bookmarks = 44 images? Or should I do only the recommended ones? and if I do this, what about the store logo and badge logo?
- What is a badge logo and what is a store logo? Is this the same image I used for other logos before?
- I accept the logo = Icon, correct me if I am wrong
